HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?

I suggest booking your session 1-2 months prior to when you need your finished artwork. I only take a select number of sessions each month in studio, so I suggest booking as soon as possible. Boudoir sessions are something to prepare and plan for. When you book months in advance that gives you an opportunity to get your outfit ideas together, to shop and get new items in.  If you know in advance that you want to grab a session date 6 months in advance, great! Let's set it up. Keep in mind that the first time you see your edited images a 5-7 days after your session, and it takes a few weeks for your products to come after that if you've ordered any. Give yourself ample time if you need your finished artwork by a certain date.

Question 2

I'M INTERESTED IN BOOKING A MATERNITY BOUDOIR SESSION. WHEN SHOULD I PLAN TO DO MY SESSION?

I absolutely love working with expecting moms!! For a maternity boudoir session I recommend having your session between 28 and 33 weeks. This allows for the expecting mom to have a round full belly, but still be feeling fabulous. When planning looks for a maternity session, I recommend timeless and classic pieces as well as the typical 'less is more' strategy.

I AM INTERESTED IN A BOUDOIR SESSION, BUT I'M SO NERVOUS!!

I understand that boudoir sessions can be nerve-wracking! I strive to create a relaxed and comfortable environment for you to enjoy. I  am here to guide you through each step of the process and provide you with all the support and encouragement you need.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR. CAN YOU HELP ME?

Yes!  Every session has access to our client closet(at no extra cost) with lingerie pieces ranging from size XS to 4XL in different colors. While I can't guarantee sizes, color, style of lingerie that you may specifically want, the closet is available to you! If you know you want specific outfits worn please bring them with you.

Question 5

I'M NOT A BIG LINGERIE PERSON, WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST BRINGING?

Not everyone loves lingerie, and that's ok! There are so many ways to feel beautiful at your session. Some of my favorite non lingerie 'fits  are off the shoulder sweaters, white pressed shirt, leather jacket, Calvin Klein underwear, sheer sheets or nothing at all.

Question 6

DO CLIENTS DO THEIR OWN HAIR AND MAKEUP?

Professional hair and makeup is a part of several sessions. However, we do offer one session that does not come with hair & makeup.

Question 7

DO MY IMAGES GET SHARED?

Accepted Answer

While I will always hope that I get to share your beautiful images, it is 100% your choice. I hope that you feel empowered and proud of the images we create and want to share them. However, it is completely up to you! Each client gets to choose whether we can share all your images, only the ones you choose, only images that are "anonymous" and don't show your face, or none at all. This is a very personal choice and while your pre session questionnaire will ask if I may share, you can always wait to decide until after you have seen your images.

Question 8

DO YOU ALLOW CLIENTS TO VIEW PHOTOS AS THE SESSION TAKES PLACE?

I will show clients a handful of photos throughout our session as I see fit or as they ask. However, we do need to keep the session on schedule so that you get your full investment of your session and because typically sessions are booked back to back and there is no extra time. While I've never had to say 'no' to previewing a few images, I will if it's necessary, in order to keep the session running. Don't worry, I promise you look g o r g e o u s and that I will always present you with the most beautiful images to choose from.

CAN I HAVE GUESTS AT MY SESSION?

While I understand having your boo or your bestie with you at your session sounds like a fun idea, I don’t allow clients to bring guests to their shoot. Having a guest present could make you more nervous and distract from the main event – you! – and quite honestly the studio just isn't big enough. If you are booking a destination boudoir session I am happy to talk about guests if it's a deal breaker for you.

Question 10

WHERE/WHEN WILL MY SESSION TAKE PLACE?

Blush studio is located in downtown Hollister, however I also provide destination boudoir- if you're thinking destination ask me about travel fees that apply. On your session day, you arrive at our studio and everything is taken care of. We'll chat and look over any outfits you brought and get any questions answered that you may still have. My weekly boudoir sessions start at 5 pm while my weekend sessions are a 2 pm or 5 pm start time.

HOW MUCH DO YOU EDIT OUT?

Photoshop is definitely our friend. With that said, I want you to look like you. I do smooth skin so you look like how you feel on the inside. My general rule with editing is to take out things that aren't permanent - a blemish, a scratch or bruise, stray hairs, soften wrinkles, etc. We will absolutely use posing to an advantage as it always helps to accentuate curves and flatter your figure. I do get asked about stretch marks - and while I don't have any issues with my own, that's not everyone's personal point of view and this experience is about elevating y o u. We will always chat editing, how much or how little you'd like, during our session, don't you worry.

WHEN WILL I SELECT MY FAVORITE IMAGES?

My turn around time for editing galleries is 5-14 business business days. We will have decided on your session reveal date at the time of your studio session.

Question 13

HOW DO I DISPLAY MY IMAGES AFTER MY SESSION?

At your photo reveal you will have the opportunity to also select items/merchandise to display your images. Client favorites include the Luxury Boudoir Album which comes in multiple sizes, the Image Box, wall art and view finders.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

It's my sincerest goal to try and accommodate every persons budget, so yes, I do offer payment plans! When you book your session date with me you do have the option to pay in full for the session of your choice, or to split the cost up into monthly, weekly, or biweekly payments leading up to your shoot date. There is a $200 non refundable deposit due the day you book and sign your contract and your final payment is due the day before your session. If you need other arrangements made, you'd like to bring cash the day of your session with the remainder or pay in full with cash when you book, make sure you bring that up with me. Just remember, your session won't begin until the total is paid in full. :)
